Norfolk and Western #475 M-Class (Strasburg #475)

This one has been on my list for awhile. This engine is one of my most favorite among the N&W steamers. After riding this train through Strasburg PA in august 2015, I wanted to know more about it. She was built in June 1906 for the N&W before her career was over. She was saved from scrap and traveled up and down the coast until she found her new home on the Strasburg RR in 1993. She currently serves alongside Ex. Canadian National #89 and Ex. Great Western Railway #90 for tourist passenger runs, though she isn't universally liked by the crews because of the cramped cab space. This Engine means alot to me because my Great Grandfather used to work for the N&W alongside these engines daily. He may have even rode this engine once (Or one like it).

Coloring took a long time but the scanner still picked up some flaws on the smokebox. Just pretend its loose steam hazing over the front okay?
